My back country Everglades National
Park Tarpon and Snook fishing charters have been a blast. Bruce wanted his first Tarpon and called me up he specifically wanted to fish in the day and loved the remote areas of the Everglades. I offered him my special creeks lakes and ponds trip. In fact, I actually guaranteed that he would get his first Tarpon or the trip was free.
The fishing has been that good and it will only get better as the cooler autumn weather settles into south Florida. My specialized Geenoe weaved up the mangrove back creeks past alligators, stalks and herons. As we cleared into an opening feeding Tarpon and Snook could be seen feeding on the surface and heard, making large explosions as bait fish tan for cover. We lost count of how many snook we caught and we caught several nice Tarpon. We fished the area until our time was up and headed back for the dock escorted by herons That flew along side our skiff.
