How to: Flies

We edited the fly from the Fly tying workshop at the WPBFC and Scott Hamilton shares his fly and How to tie it. This is a very versatile baitfish fly and can be tied from Hooks as small as sz. 8 to 1/0 tied with Super Hair, Ultra Hair with a medium thickness For sizes 1/0 to 4/0 Jig Hair is the thickest to use. Here at Fly and fish tv we primarily use this fly in Saltwater for Bonita and Snook from 1/0 to 4/0 This fly perfectly represents a small bait fish like the pilchards that are prevalent in our area. Scott Hamilton uses this fly ALOT after all he created it. On bonita its a done deal and In all white this fly is killer around the dock lights for Miami Tarpon and Snook
