Father and sn get there first snook! We started the night with working the area for Tarpon of the beach. It was a little sporty and slow fishing on the first drift with an unintended smaller jack cravelle who took the bait.
The sun started to set and the tide switched so, we headed over to a more sheltered spot that had been good on the snook bite. It wasn’t long and the rod doubled over as drag poured of the shimano bait runner . We boated our first snook of the night and that continued for several more nice fish including a nice slot sized fis that we took home for dinner.
With several nice snook and a variety of jacks and snapper we headed in to the dock lights for some more action on the calmer waters of biscayne bay.
we rounded out the night on super light tackle and a bunch of nice jacks!
