Tarpon and Snook Fishing Report Miami

Miami dock light fishing miami fishing charters Miami Snook Fishing Miami Tarpon and Snook fishing Miami Tarpon Fishing Miami tarpon fishing report Saltwater Fishing

We started the night around south beach drifting live bait around government cut. We marked several Tarpon and it wasn’t long before we hooked up! The Tarpon jumped and we could see that it was about 6ft long aprox 80 lb the fight went on with several nice jumps we got the leader and a big bull shark came into the light and we had to let the fish go early to avoid the fish being eaten :-( we followed up by moving spots and marked apt of bait balls and marking several nice Snook and it wasn’t long before my client hooked into a very nice Snook. We continued inside the bay casting artificial baits around bridges and around dock lights we jumped several smaller tarpon babies I say around 40 inches to finish off another successful Miami Tarpon and Snook fishing adventure. The dock lights are getting better as the summer goes on. One dock light has several nice Tarpon on it now and I have been waiting for almost a year for them to show up. So, this means we are in full summer mode now and Snook will be more plentiful around those lights also.
