Everglades Tarpon and Snook Fishing in the Backcountry

Using specialized gear it possible to access some of the best most un-touched waters in the everglades. In fact, its almost like fishing some 100 years ago or more. To access these areas I use a my geenoe a boat that is very narrow and able to go up some very small windy creeks. This is some serious backcountry Everglades fishing. Once you enter these lakes and ponds you realize that you are probably the only one who has fished the area in a long time. Birds abound and fish move out from the banks and sight fishing is usually the norm. Tarpon Roll at the surface and snook "pop" on un-suspecting baitfish. The sight and sound is jaw dropping.
